Math Investigations - Patterning

Students practice creating and recording a variety of

patterns with 2 color counters, pattern block shapes,

color tiles, and other manipulatives.

The children learned that we borrowed the tradition of

trimmng the Christmas tree from Germany. In Germany the

tree is presented on Christmas Eve and decorated with wax candles,

apples, candy, nuts, tinsel, angels, and other family treasures.

Parent volunteers help out with tutoring students,

preparing materials and assisting with special projects.
