Students have been learning classroom
expectations and procedures.
They've learned how to use classroom
materials and where they are kept.
They've been using their own
supplies and practice organization daily.
Students have visited each of the
special area classrooms and know their teachers.
Kindergarteners are learning to work together
and are learning the names of new friends.
In math we've been focusing on numerals 0-5
and exploring ways to write and model numbers.
In our Literacy Module we've learned about Toys &
Play and have conversations about how we play together.
In Social Studies we've been learning
how we are alike and also how our
differences make us unique and special.
We discussed when our birthdays are and
enjoyed an iced cupcake treat for snack.
