Pineville International Day is on February 7th. Our class is focusing on
Hawaii. This week we learned that the Hawaiian Islands were formed
by volcanos. The children learned that Hawaii is the 50th state and a
part of the United States. Hawaii is an archipelago, a chain of islands
in the Pacific Ocean.
The children made a model volcano and painted it.
Our room mom, Laura Stout created a volcano on our class bulletin board.
The boys and girls added "hot lava rocks"!
