Blubber Glove

Last week we learned about polar animals. The children learned that
polar animals have blubber to protect them in cold temperatures. We
made a "blubber glove" using Crisco and plastic bags.

Nazari tests her hands in ice water. One hand is protected by

the "blubber glove". The class agreed that the hand without

the blubber was much colder.
